It was a weekend & they decided to visit the mall nearby. Naina was busy shopping. But Nitin did not show much interest. He was lost somewhere else. Naina could sense he was not his usual self. When enquired Nitin just brushed it off telling everything is fine. When she insisted on knowing what is troubling him, he just grabbed her hand, looked deeply into her eyes & said, "your eyes Naina…always your eyes. It distracts me & troubles me when I am away from you & kissed her on her forehead.” She was speechless, blushed & pushed him aside.
Naina: Hey crazy hubby…lets shop now & we have a great home to get lost in each others thoughts & eyes.
They visited CCD. As they were waiting for the coffee, Nitin’s phone was buzzing. He replied in one word & said,” I will call you later.” Just as he hung up the phone buzzed again & again. Naina happened to notice that the call was from an unknown number.
Firstly Nitin never took calls on weekends. Secondly he never answered calls when they were together. This behaviour was strange for her. However she choose to ignore. Nitin could now read his Naina’s eyes. Just to stop further conversation on the phone call he clarified it was a call from a new joinee in the office. I had given him some work & he just needed few clarifications. We have a morning meeting on Monday. Naina just smiled. They finished their coffee & left.
