One of the county's sheriff''s deputy who trains their police dogs had a german shepherd that was retiring from service and needed a good home heard about Kelsey's dog. He brought over the dog named Star. Maxine knew they were getting a guard dog that wasn't going to let just any old body break in or just walk in if they had a spare key She knew it was Andrew's old buddy who had work for a lock smith for awhile.
Maxine remembered Kelsey was seven years old when her father decided to transfer from working putting up poles in eastern Missouri to being a manager at The Western Electrical Grid. He also would be transferring his four year college credits to an college in California.to finish his eight years total.
