Kelsey drove Cody back to campus and again thanked him but this time she was thanking him for being very friendly to her and becoming a new friend of hers. She told him that she had gotten nothing but hatred out of people so far at the college. He smiled and stated he was there if she needed anything or if she just wanted to hear or see a friendly face.
When she got back to the motel she unloaded the supply bag first then the books. She was in the process of matching the books with the materials when a piece of paper fell out from the bag. It was called Getting A Head Start On Your Courses. That was exactly what she had missed out on. She knew if she studied that she could and would be ready for the first full day of courses. In the top book another piece of paper fell out. It was the list that Cody had faxed to his sister. On the bottom of it he had written Mom and Sis I think this is love. What do you think of her? Is she right for me? As she read it she caught herself in the mirror smiling from ear to ear. She now had two friends at her new college. She decided at that moment yes she would be fine here at college.
