Pretty soon a community college was on the agenda to be built and run in town. That increase the population even more There were new businesses opening. The town saw their first fst food joint which was a drive in or drive through. The town now had decided to keep all of the deputies on as full time Sheriff Smith's family was keeping busy but it was almost time for them to travel to see the youngest daughter at college. The town had it's budget meeting and realized their budget was over the limit and some of the budget allotments couldn't be kept so the nursing school and community college was denied city funding and they wasn't self supporting yet so they closed up shop and went back to the big city.
The town lost quite a bit of their population and the sheriff's department went back to their old schedule and half of the deputies was put back on part time employment status. The community had just strencthed their resources too thin at one time. Henry was reluncted to go see his sister with that hunter still hanging around but finally agreeded to go. A lesson well learned. The town's council decided to take it slow and easy from then on.
