Meanwhile in Hamilton there was a police investigation started involving some murders. William's old boss was found shot to death in his home They found fingerprints of William there. Then a couple of ex policemen turned dirty cops was also found again with William's fingerprints.
A detective called and Shiloh told him that the funeral home had dug William's body up and cremated it and he was shipped here and buried in his family's plot. The detective said he was calling to verify what the funeral home director had told him. They were trying to figure out how a dead man's fingerprints could be found at three murder scences. Shiloh said obviously some one is covering their tracks and blaming it on a dead person.
The detective told her that he hadn't figured out how it could be done but he was going to get to the bottom of this. She wished him good luck. The next murder was the police commissioner himself. In his house they found a quarter of a million dollars in his safe. The DA told the news that they suspected him of being a dirty cop and maybe even the ring leader of a crime ring that was frauding families out of their insurance settlements with two or three insurance companies and whoever was behind the murders was killing these people and the news media labeled it the revenge murders .
