She stopped at famous drive thru fast food place and got them all hamburgers and fries. She stopped just inside of the Indian reservation and picked up a couple of jars of baby food for toddlers. Ninovan could eat very soft foods but chocked easily on them. Angeni didn't want to take the chance. Grandma didn't have time to fix something she could eat. It seemed grandma knew just the right consistency. She remember several times in the city she had to call Mr. Hastings due to Ninovan chocking. He always knew what to do.

She learned to puree everything when Ninovan was just a baby. She continued to do that even though the doctor at the free clinic said that Ninovan would learn how to chew her food better. She needed to be fed alone with a supervisor showing her how to chew slowly and drink plenty of milk in between. Grandma was doing just that.

Their grandma knew what stress had been put onto Angeni by their mother abandoning them. She had a feeling that was going to happen when her son died. You could say she saw the writing on the wall After they ate she let the boys go outside in front to play ball. She settled Ninovan in her room with the gate up. She could see her through the open door. She sat down and started to read the paper when she saw a picture of a group of business men with their wives.
