Gavin quit school and moved back home.took over the business where he met his first wife Suzanne who was five foot eight and was pretty enough to had been either a model or movie star but instead she was interested in playing the organ at their Baptist church on Sundays and staying home baking pies for older ladies then taking it to them. One of her friends and her did the baking in the farmhouse big kitchen. When Alexis was a senior in high school her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was a very rough last two years of her life. First losing her hair due to the radiation and chemo that she took and not being able to keep even water down then having a IV put in and then having to give her medicene through the Iv and the ensure to bed baths and whatever else that Alexis could do to try to keep her mother as confortable as she could. She would roll her hospital bed in front of the big bay windows where she could see the gardrn with the big tree in the middle and the hummingbird feeders plus the other feeders and then her rose bushes.
