“That’s all I needed to hear,” he said, letting out a groan of pure contentment. “But are you sure you want to live in Hidden Falls?”

“Someone has to keep Pirro and the rest of the family in line.” Sara tilted her head back and grinned.

“I have to admit I didn’t see that one coming, but you’re right. I have come to terms with my family, and I miss them. Besides, I think I’ve done enough hostage negotiating to last me a lifetime.”

“As long as you spend that lifetime with me.” Her eyes sparkled with love.

Rafe nodded. “That’s all I ever wanted.” She was all he’d ever wanted. “You’re all I ever wanted, and it feels so good to say it out loud.”

He sealed his lips over hers—a kiss and a lifelong commitment he intended to keep.

THE BACHELOR BLOG

Ladies and gentlemen, due to unforeseen circumstances this is the last installment of the Bachelor Blog, but let it be said we ended with a bang. Reports of our last bachelor eloping with his lady were greatly exaggerated. But all is not lost, and romance still blooms.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Mancuso were officially married in the groom’s hometown of Hidden Falls, New York, where the couple has relocated permanently. The setting for the ceremony? The oft-mentioned Angel’s Bed-and-Breakfast, a quaint family inn run by Angel and Nick Mancuso—our hero’s brother and his wife.

The Hidden Falls town council reported that funding to create a new police department in Hidden Falls is underway. Which Mancuso will be named chief of police? I wish I could say stay tuned…. Instead, I’ll say farewell. It’s been a pleasure reporting on New York City’s most eligible bachelors and helping some very special couples to find each other. Just remember, fairy tales do happen. And your happily ever after could be right around the next corner.
