Andrea was peddling her road to discovery on Andean Condor the native bird, where she was and inhabitant of Chile. Andrea pens down in her personal diary about the bird she was studying. Andean Condor belongs to Vulture family, it’s the only of the genus Vulture. Andean Condor, found in the Andes mountain. Andean Condor is the largest flying bird in the world. It is a large black vulture with a ruff of white feathers surrounding the base of the neck and especially in the male, large white patches on the wings. The male bird is larger than the female.

The Condor is primarily a scavenger, feeding on carrion. It nests at elevations of up to 5000 m(16,000ft), generally on inaccessible rock ledges. It is one of the longest living birds, with a lifespan of over 70 years in some cases. Andrea is very excited about her first project on Andean Condor. She completes her project and files up for submission and emails it the director of Andes zoology department, Mr. Nelson Rock.

Nelson Rock will be in Argentina to attend a seminar on the bird sanctuary project. It will take a week for him to come back to Chile. Andrea will be sad but she wouldn’t be in silence. She decides to go for a forest ride to find in some more information on different birds. Her parents do not agree but Andrea convinces them that she will be going along with the team of six.
