"Are, are you going to kill me now?" she said looking up at the man who just took out her huntsman. Stryker could see the fear in her eyes as she spoke and slowly brought his viewpoint up to meet with that of Aurora who still held her Glock in hand. "I just wanted out of this crazy shit," Jodi cried as she turned again to spy the woman behind her still displaying her firearm in full view of everyone. She had but one gun and she lay between the other woman and the man with the superior pistol. Stryker could tell by the look in Aurora's eyes, she was not going to let this woman stand before opening fire upon her, so he took command of the affair.

"Please stand up, we will not fire on you," he said reaching out his hand in a friendly gesture. He could tell by the look on his partners face that Aurora didn't feel the same way. She trusted her friend's judgment and although felt he was mistaken, stood down and slid her weapon back into its holding place. "You're Jodi Richman, am I right?" Stryker questioned as the woman regained an upright posture.

"Yes, I am Richman. That was Jimmy Vegas you brought down…..and you?"

"Matt Stryker, behind you is Aurora Constantine."

"I should thank you for killing that pasty dressed asshole," she said with a slight grin. "I was trying to leave here when he ambushed me," she added brushing off dirt from the subway floor.

"Stryker!" Aurora shouted added by a slight head nod toward the viewing public who still lay all around them."

"Well," he said widening his eyes and giving a nod of his own.

"Alright people, the show is over, get the hell out of there…..like go!" she cried out as people jumped to their feet and ran off until they were the only three in sight.

"Alright, glad we made a new friend but we can't stay here much longer you know," Aurora said after watching the last of the passengers vanish from the platform.

"Yeah, she's right Stryker, the cops are going to be on us any time now. They were after me and that scumbag just minutes ago," Jodi said as she turned back at the staircase she had descended from. "He killed a shit load of transit cops two levels up, we have to get out of here," she added making eye contact with Aurora.

"Are you still armed?" Stryker asked her.

"Yeah, I lost my gun in the scrap with the cops but I have one of their pistols with me. It's fully loaded but I don't have any ammo for it once I'm out," Jodi said.
