His eyes snapped open as her words hit his heart like a bullet; piercing through it.

He quickly pulled away, letting go of her throat only to find her gasp for air and then he realized what had he done.

But before even the regret could get its way to his heart, her eyes already closing.

"Ashy! No! I'm sorry!!!", he was breathing hard but she already slipped into unconsciousness.

He shook her limp body. "Ashley! Wake up".

At least she was still breathing. If only he hadn't pulled away for a few more seconds, she could have died. He didn't give it a second thought.

He didn't want to imagine it. He didn't even want to think that way.

He quickly slipped his one arm behind her knees and the other behind her neck, picking her up in the bridal style, he ran for the medical room.

They had one to treat their men after a fight. They couldn't just go to a normal hospital and ask for the treatment of gun shots without involving police. That they couldn't afford.

Ian was feeling vexation. He was furious. But it was his mistake afterall. He couldn't blame just anyone for his deeds even if he waned to ,to let go of his regret and the guilt. The regret was burning him inside.
