​ No one knew where they were now. Mr and Mrs. Mansford (George and Casanra) had lived in town ever since they both were babies. Mr. Mansford's grandparents Mr. George William Mansford Sr. and his lovely wife Zelda founded the town. They owned the local restaurant. ​ No one had anything bad to say about either of the two girls or their grandparents. Mindy was.a hostess at her grandparents restaurant. There had been a lot of strangers coming through the town especially during the summer months and holidays. Late one night the dishwasher saw a strnger talking to Mindy. She thought he had grabbed Mindy's wrist.to keep her from walking away from his table.

When he left she followed him outside and wrote down his license plate number. During the policw investigation she gave the license plate number to them. The police ran the plate number and dixcovered that plate belonged to a well known drug dealer. They asummed the girls was involved in drugs either dealing or using. The girl's grandparents, preacher, teachers, and fellow students just shook their heads and denied ever seeing the girls around any drugs
