Alexis didn't tell Brandon about the young man's visit to her job or the note he left. She didn't want to worry him. Something diffinately was going on but she didn't know what it was. The day before theywere to leave Brandon brought his bags and loaded them into Alexis's car. That evening after dinner he kissed her goodnight. They made plans for her to pick him up at ten the next morning.
She packed her bags then settled in with a good book while she enjoyed a relaxing bath in the whirlpool tub. She heard a noise in the other part of the apartment building. When she opened her room someone had been there and ransacked her entire quarters Obviously the person who had done this was looking for something.
She called the police. they came and took her statement. She was upset and afraid that person would come back . She called one of the women professor who lived in a very secured building. She invited her to spend the night there. She came down with a security guard and rode up on the elevator with her.In the morning she had Brandon meet her in front of the college community hall. They drove the three hours to her grandparent's farm. She was a nervous wreck.When anyone on the road honked their horns she jerked.
