Pandit asked both of them to stand up and get blessings from everyone. Arya first moved to Dhivya and Sridhar. Dhivya was dressed in maroon saree while Sridhar was dressed in white dhoti and shirt. Arya saw Adhira’s siblings who were standing next to their mom neatly dressed up. Suresh was dressed up in grey pants and checked yellow shirt while Uma wore a green half saree. Dhivya was crying but when she saw them coming towards them she wiped it and put on a smiling face also she wrapped her shoulders with the pallu.
They then took their blessing were once they stood up Dhivya hugged Adhira and kissed her on her forehead. Dhivya never used to kiss her and didn’t like public displays so this kiss was very special to Adhira. She felt that she had done something good which had given her mother the happiness all her life.
Adhira hugged her mom back and kissed her on her cheeks just like a baby. Arya saw that and thought,‘She is like a baby.’ They then moved to get blessings from Ram and Lakshmi. They blessed them both and Lakshmi hugged her too. Adhira was able to sense the warmth in Lakshmi’s hug. They got blessings from all the elders and by evening they vacated the hall and went to Arya’s home.
