Everyone started applying turmeric and making her to wear bangles on her hand. Adhira was able to feel the bumps on her stomach and she felt the baby kicking her.
Adhira placed her hands on the stomach and Lakshmi saw her face and guessed something was going on so she went and asked her, “Are you okay?”
Adhira said,” Usual baby bumps and kicking.”
The function went on where everyone started singing songs and some were talking with others. Arya was standing beside her. He saw sweat flowing down her so he asked Adhira,” Shall I get something for you to drink?”
Adhira said,” No. I don’t feel like eating anything.”
Arya nodded her and said, “But still I will get you orange juice at least.”
Adhira grabbed his hand. He saw her and tapped her hand and went to get the juice for her.
Adhira nodded her head and suddenly started screaming in pain. Lakshmi saw her and came to her instantly. Adhira grabbed her hands and tears started flowing from her eyes. Lakshmi asked her,” What happened?”
Adhira was unable to bear this sudden pain and shouted and immediately. Lakshmi shouted,” Arya, get a cab or find the auto. We have to take her to the hospital.”
She informed Adhira,”Don’t panic. Breathe in and out. Everything will be alright soon.”
Arya managed to get an auto and Lakshmi asked him to take her to the hospital while she will join them behind by packing her clothes.
Arya and Adhira rushed to the hospital in auto while Lakshmi called Gayathri and they both packed the clothes and necessary items for Adhira.
