Lakshmi turned to Adhira and spoke,” You go and sleep dear. I will make sure he closes the door and go properly so that you won’t get disturbed.”
Now Arya understood that Lakshmi was scolding him for leaving the room door behind. He saw both once and then lifted the flower basket again and went ahead ignoring his mom words.
He thought,” Why can’t they say things directly? Wasting my time as well. Uffff…”
Adhira spoke back,” No problem ma. Shall I help you?”
Lakshmi saw her and said,” No. Evening we have function. You won’t be able to sleep in afternoon so go and take rest now. I will see to that none disturbs you.”
Adhira nodded her head as she yawned back and went to sleep again. Lakshmi smiled seeing Adhira’s yawn and behavior. She thought,” She herself is still an innocent child but now she is carrying a baby with her” and laughed.
Everyone started to decorate the house while Gayathri was making coffee for everyone. The entrance was decorated with garlands by Arya and also the chairs were placed at the corner and was ready to align by afternoon.
The shamiana was put up at front of home and they had placed the traditional sandal, kumkum, roses and some sweets to welcome the guests. Gayathri made their younger cousin to take care of welcoming guests.
