“Chance Reed, huh?” Travis’ deep, southern drawl broke through the murmurs and had all eyes turning toward him. “Interesting, considering all this time I thought your name was Gage Matthews.”
Epilogue
“Does it look as good as you thought it would?” Tag asked, sitting in a chair beside her as she glanced over the published article she had put together for Luke.
McKenna was happy with it.
She should be, considering she had spent the last two weeks working on it. As it would turn out, Luke and Logan McCoy weren’t as easy to write about as she originally thought.
“I wish they could’ve told me more,” McKenna answered, looking up at him briefly before returning her gaze to her tablet computer.
Ever since her brief articles on Club Destiny came out, Sensations, Inc. had been overwhelmed with interest on the bad boy club owners and the decision to close the doors. So much so, McKenna had been hard pressed not to put something together.
Due to Luke’s abrupt closing of Club Destiny, McKenna had found it necessary to sit back down with him. She’d been fortunate that he agreed, as did Logan.
“Are we done?” Tag asked, causing McKenna to look up.
“Done,” the man said.
“Looks like it’s your turn, darlin’,” Tag stated, standing up and moving toward her. “What do you think?”
McKenna couldn’t hide the smile. Staring at the vivid ink, shiny from the layer of ointment the man had put on Tag’s side, she still couldn’t believe her eyes. He’d mentioned wanting to get another tattoo, but she hadn’t expected this, and quite frankly, she’d tried to talk him out of it at first. There, in a very intricate black font: The red haired vixen belongs to me.
Apparently that’s the nickname he’d given her over the course of the last few months, and he insisted on having it added.
Now it was her turn, and as she stared down at the picture the tattoo artist had drawn up, McKenna was excited about her very first tattoo. It was the same symbol Tag had tattooed near his collarbone. After some research, she found it referred to as Serch Bythol, which is formed by using two triskeles that join to create a circle representing an everlasting circle of eternity.
As far as she was concerned, it represented them perfectly, and although Tag hadn’t known his reason for getting it at the time, he told her that it was obviously a sign of what was to come.
Two people joined in mind, body, and spirit, in everlasting love.
