Just as yesterday we entered the testing room where 2 students had gone into battle, today is the ladies turn and Kayla is up first, she is in battle with a girl who has the ability to shift. But with the gravity issues she has a really hard time transforming, one might think that would put Kayla ahead in the game, but with the gravity weighing down on her, she is having a difficult time controlling herself as well. It takes a while for the match to be over, as it turns out when it comes down to it most of the students are quiet equal without the added advantage of their unique gifts
At the conclusion of the match, Kayla is awarded the victory, though she has come out looking less than that of her usual perfect self.
Just 2 battles later, and its time for lunch.
At lunch today, unlike yesterday we are joined by Kale, he takes a spot next to me leaving Kayla on my other side, as we become engaged in our conversation. I notice Amy walking towards us, she comfortably plops down in the vacant chair next to Kale and begins talking to him, and almost as if though she didn’t know that he was already having a conversation with the rest of us.
