Now that hope has just been disintegrated, as if though an atomic bomb has just went off, leaving barely any remnants of what once was. I continue staring at her, while Ryan is trying to untangle himself from her arms which are trying to wrap around him.
“She really is beautiful though.” I add but I can’t seem to get the bitter taste out of my mouth as I say the words.
“Beautiful my ass, if her face looked anything like her black heart, they would use it to scare children to sleep, or as a mask on Halloween.” I start laughing at that snide remark.
“You really do hate her.”
“Yeah she walks around like she is so much better than everyone else, she hates when any girl gets more attention than her, and she speaks to others as if they are dirt. Ryan is the only guy who seems to see through that fake smile of hers, he’s the only guy in school that doesn’t pay her any attention, Ryan and the rest of my brothers cause they hate the way she treats Kale.”
“I’m sure Kale can get someone else, I mean it’s not like he looks bad or anything. There are plenty of fish in the sea, I’m sure he can move on if he chooses to.”
