I avert my eyes, but his eyes are like stupid magnets drawing me in over and over.
“We better go, don’t wanna run late.” Kayla says
“Thanks for the breakfast Mrs. Austin, it was delicious.” I say
“You’re welcome. Have a great day at school."
As we walk out of the house Kayla’s hand instantly links in with mine. “I can’t wait for everyone to see what you can do. You will blow them away.”
“Don’t say that please I just wanna spend this year going unnoticed.”
“That’s gonna be very hard to do considering you in that jeans. It’s a little distracting I might say. Looking like a little Barbie doll. My guess is everyone is gonna be talking about you by the end of the day, and that’s not even knowing about your capabilities.” Titus says with a cocky smile plastered over that cute face.

“Anyway…” I say hoping they will drop the damn topic, like drop it into the ocean or something.
