My mom has always been really dissapointed by the fact that I have always Been more or the tomboy side. She has never had the opportunity to dress me up or even see me all dressed up.

For years she has tried to convince me that I'm beautiful. And not to be ashamed of who I am.

I almost forgot that my parents aren’t used to seeing this new me, they only know the awkward girl who got away from them as soon as she could.

The girl who hated herself, hated to look in the mirror. Who would hide her face and body from the rest of the world

Yet here I stand today in a white sundress, with my long hair hanging loosely at my hips. My makeup is on, and I no longer walk around like a tomboy, but like a woman, with heels on, something they probably thought that they would never see.

“Mom you look Beautiful.” My mother has always been beautiful. In fact I always hid myself behind her

“Sweetie you know I have never ever been able to hold a candle to the beauty that you naturally possess. I’m so glad that you are finally embracing it instead of shying away from it.”

She then looks over to notice the charming, sexy man standing next to me.
