She blows out a breath almost like she is angry.

“Son have you seen Malaya, she is a beautiful girl, don’t take her interest in you for granted. Yes she likes you but what if she finds someone else, someone who isn’t deciding between her and someone else, and she falls for them, trust me, don’t wait until it’s too late. Malaya has only ever met the people at school. What happens if she meets someone else who knocks her off of her feet?”

“Mom like I said don’t worry, I won’t let it come to that, besides let’s just say it happens. As soon as I notice her being interested in someone else I'll tell her how I feel about her. Right now I’m the envy of every guy in school. I have the two most beautiful women in school.”

“Son really think, because Malaya is already so insecure why don’t you just show her how you feel about her. Let her know what you feel about her now, if you tell her after someone else is interested, and then it will just come across as insincere.”

Normally my mom has the best advice, right now she doesn’t understand what I’m saying. Let me enjoy my moment of happiness. Does she have to piss on my damn parade?
