For the Carrington's Collin and Charity married right out of high school and had married about ten years and couldn't have any children went through a fertility clinic and was sucessful within a couple of months and when they heard they were expecting at first it was twins then triplets and then every time she went back it was another baby. Finally they was told eight babies or octuplets. With Collin working at the local baby food manufactor even his bosses was estatic about the babies. They were living in a little one bedroom apartment and his company paid for a five bedroom house. When the babies was born Collin's parents moved in to help with the babies.The boys had their own room and the girls had theirs. For the first three years it was hetic around the new family. Even their church women came over and chipped in with the chores.
Watching the Carrington's octuplets growing up was fun. Some of their neighbors called them the gang of eight. If you messed with one of them then you would have to deal with all of them. They enjoyed their camp outs by the lake. Then as a family outing in town was the drive in threater where they would set up lawn chairs and a fold up card tale and arranged all of the good snacks and each one would take turns of picking out one of the new movies that was being shown there from a can. If they couldn't be found on a Friday at the drive in threate they could be found at one of the all parks.or swimming pool. then in the wintertime they could be found at the outdoor ice rink. Then the girls except for Caylie was into dancing and dance group .
