“Thank you” She said as she passed me the bill.

“There is nothing I wouldn’t do…” I grinned. She had no idea. I took the bill from her hand. I had committed at least nine crimes already today, one more wouldn’t change anything. My thoughts flashed to Emma. I saw her smiling, biting her lip. I closed my eyes and leaned over, snorting my line quickly.

“Yeah!” Abby wrapped her arms around my neck from behind. “I’ve missed this. I’ve missed us.” I didn’t say anything. I held the bill over my shoulder for her. She took it without hesitation. Her next line was gone in an instant as I fixed myself another drink. “Your turn.”

I held up my drink to signal I was already in the midst of my own party. She pouted, sticking out her bottom lip like a child.

“One vice at a time.” I joked and drank from my glass.

“Suit yourself” She shrugged and did the next one for me. As she stood up she stumbled backwards, abrely catching herself before she fell. I had her where I needed her.

“I have to get going.” I said, checking my watch.

“Ohh, You can’t leave me here all alone.” She sounded desperate. Pathetic. She crossed the room, shaking her hips and trying her best to look sexy. “The fun was just beginning.” Her arms snaked around my waist.

“I’ll make it up to you. I’ll order room service. Anything you like.” A witness to see you alive and alone. She smiled wide, unable to refuse anything for free. I guided her to the phone and dialed for her, but let her place the order. I knew nothing would likely happen to her tonight, but it was important to cover all of the bases. I waited until she hung up before leaving some money on the dresser, next to the remainder of the cocaine.

“Aren’t you forgetting something?” She called from behind me. I turned around to see her fingers sliding over her chest.

“It will take a few days to get the money together. You didn’t expect me to carry two million in my pocket, did you?” She bit her lip, struggling to focus.

“So I’ll see you again?” She asked, running her hand through her hair.

“Whatever it takes.” I smiled and left quickly, knowing she wouldn’t be able to resist the drugs. I also left enough extra money for her to purchase more, if she survived tonight.

I made my way to Stephen’s car.

“Well?” He asked, sounding more panicked than before.

“I took care of it.” I said as he pulled out into traffic. He looked like he had seen a ghost.

“You didn’t..” his voice trailed off, unable to say the words.

“She’s alive…for now.” I said. He didn’t ask anything else, just took me home.

Chapter Twenty-Eight

I found Emma curled up in a ball on the couch. I slipped my arms under her and lifted her from the couch to carry her to bed. She stretched and yawned. “Shhh” I whispered.

“What time is it?” She asked, looking around.

“Just after three in the morning.” I laid her down on the center of my bed.

“How did everything go?” She pulled the covers over her as she watched me take off my clothes. I thought over how to respond.

“She has the money. Everything is taken care of.” It was. With the money I gave her, Abby could fuel her addiction. I slipped into bed behind Emma, pressing my body against hers. She relaxed against me and drifted back off to sleep moments later. I was not as fortunate. I stayed awake for another hour or so, tracing the line of her hip bone as I worried about what would happen next. When I did sleep I had horrible nightmares of life without Emma. Her finding out my secrets and never wanting to be near me again.

Early in the morning I awoke to the sounds of my phone vibrating against the wood of the dresser. I slipped myself out from under the covers and pulled on my jeans. I grabbed the phone and headed for the kitchen to make some coffee.

“Yeah?” I asked, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

“I’m worried this plan of yours is going to backfire.” Stephen was panicked and his voice sounded as if he slept worse than I had, without the coke to make his thoughts race.

“It will work.” I said quietly as Emma rounded the corner. I put my finger to her lips to keep her quiet. She smirked and went to the cupboard to get herself a cup for her morning coffee.

“What if it doesn’t?” He was pleading with me like a child to to tell him everything was going to be okay. That the monster in his closet wasn’t real, but I was that monster.

“You have my word it will be taken care of.” I assured him. Emma reached for the sugar that sat on the counter in front of me. I pushed it back out of her reach and gave her a devilish smile. She made a face at me. She reached again and again I pushed it farther. She lifted her body up so her feet came off the floor and reached again. I closed the gap between us, pressing myself against her backside.

“I’ll call you back.” I said to Stephen and hung up. I sat the phone down and slid my fingers down her sides, gripping her hips and pulling her back into me. Her fingers gripped the edge of the counter. I slowly looped my fingers in her panties and pulled them down. I leaned over her and whispered in her ear. “Don’t let go.” I pushed against her entrance, slowly letting myself slide in. I rocked slowly against her. Gripping her hipbones. She moaned quietly. “You like it when I fuck you nice and slow?” I asked, saying the words in time with my thrusts.

“Yes, Sir” She moaned and her back arched, allowing me to go deeper. I did. “Aaahh” she breathed. I slid my hand up the length of her spine and tangled my fingers in her hair, pulling back gently. I began to move faster, filling her completely. “You feel so good inside of me.” Her words burned. My good girl begging to be fucked. Her walls tightened around me, sending us both tumbling over the edge of ecstacy. I continued to rock my hips until the last shutter of pleasure rippled through her body. I released her hair and she lay her head down on the countertop, exhausted. I stepped back and admired the beautiful view. I brought my hand down across her backside. She screamed and arched her back. I quickly dipped my fingers between her thighs and rubbed lightly over her wetness. I wasn’t finished with her yet. I lay back over her and gently nipped her earlobe. “Mmmm” The sound of wanting escaped her lips.

“This” I let a finger slip inside of her and pulled back out. “Belongs to me” I rubbed her slowly in small circles, again and again.

“Yes” Her fingers held tight to the edge of the countertop.

“Say it” I let my finger slide back inside of her. She pushed back against me, eager for more.

“It belongs to you.” She moaned. I laughed at her sudden shyness.

“Your pussy belongs to me.” I slipped a second finger inside of her. “Say it.” I breathed into her ear.

“My pussy belongs to you.” She was willing to do anything. I smiled as I slipped my other hand around her waist. I rubbed against her front with one hand while fucking her with the fingers from the other. She tightened around me, pulling them deeper as she panted, unraveling again.

I gripped her hips and pulled back off the counter. She leaned against it, steadying herself. I slid her cup of coffee over to her.

“Sugar is on the counter.” I smirked and went to my room to get dressed for the day.

The morning went by without a hitch. Angela had not shown up to work today and very few people were talking about Jeff’s accident. When it came time for Emma’s class I felt like the world was no longer fighting against us. I watched her walk in my room like an angel who had just walked to throught the gates of heaven. My heaven. I mingled with the students, answering questions about graduation for a few minutes, but my thoughts never left her. I stared at her whenever possible, even taking a moment to smell her sweet scent on my fingers. A knock came at the door and I immediately looked to Emma. She was stricken with panic. I ran my hands through my hair wondering what it would be to end my beautiful fantasy. The accident from my past, Jeff’s crash. Angela, Abby?

I walked to the door and stepped outside, coming face to face with Angela. She was the lessor of all of my evils.

“What?” I asked as I ran my hands through my hair again.

“Can I stay with you? For a few days?” She asked, tucking her hair nervously behind her ear.

“Stay with your husband.” I was in no mood for this.

“William…” Her voice trailed off and she said nothing more.

“Don’t ever come to my place again. You’re not welcome there.” I warned her and went back inside my room. I continued my lecture where I had left off, not letting my gaze fall on Emma for too long.

She did not stay after class. I had wanted her to but it would be foolish to risk what we had when I was so close to being able to be with her forever. I made it through the last few mindnumbing classes without a hitch.

When the day finally came to a close I couldn’t wait to be close to her, to touch her. I made it to my car and scanned the parking lot. She was just slipping into her seat. I pulled out my phone and sent her a quick message.

Where are you headed?

I got inside my car and waited.

Home

Mine?

My Aunt is going to start asking questions if I don’t show up every once and awhile.

As my eyes danced over her words, Angela made her way to the side of my car. I clentched my jaw, debating on whether or not to take her up on wanting to stay with me, just so I could get rid of her.

“This is starting to border on stalking.” I said, half joking.

“Wlliam, I’m not trying to cause you any trouble. I need help. I can’t stay with my husband anymore.” Her eyes swelled with tears. I watched Emma drive by, not looking at me. My heart sank. I have had about enough of Angela upsetting her.

“That’s not my problem.” I clenched my jaw, biting back the things I really wanted to say. One tear escaped her eye and her jaw quivered.

“Please, if you ever cared about me at all..” She begged. I glared at her and her mouth snapped shut. She took a silent step back from my car and I pushed it in drive. I left her standing alone in the lot. I texted Emma, to make sure she didn’t have the wrong idea.

Angela means nothing to me, you know that right?

Emma, please answer me.

Fucking answer me.

She didn’t respond. I would have gladly listened to her yell and scream than to completely ignore me. Everything seemd to collide together at once. I had to see her, had to make this right. I drove to her house, parking up the road out of site.

I made my way to the back of her house so I could sneak in her bedroom window, but there she lay, tanning herslef in the sun.

“You are going to burn that pretty little ass of yours.” I said, taking in the view of her laying on her stomach, small scraps of fabric covering her most private parts. Mine. She jumped at the sound of my voice and flipped over to her back.

“What are you doing here?” She didn’t try to hide the irritation in her voice.

“You didn’t respond. I got worried.” She rolled her eyes at me. Rolled her fucking eyes at me.

“You didn’t respond to me either and you don’t see me acting like a stalker.” She hissed angrily. I felt like her words were a slap in the face. A fucking stalker? Was that what I was to her?

“You’re mad at me?” I asked, sinking down to my knees. I needed to make this right. “She doesn’t mean anything to me. She’s trying to work through her own feelings. She doesn’t want to stay with her husband.”

“I don’t care about her marital woes. She brought that on herself.” She shot back. I swallowed hard. She was jealous.

“Fair enough.”

“I’m not mad at you but you have to understand all of this is very new to me. I’m not exactly sure what we are doing here but I know seeing you with Angela scared me.” She explained. She didn’t want to lose me. I leaned closer, running my hand over her side and onto the small of her back. I needed to touch her, to feel that she was real. That she was still mine.
