"Mrs. Cornwall, I've placed the lab reports on your desk. They're just arrived." The secretary stated.

"Thanks honey. I was hoping to receive these this Monday morning. It's been three weeks."

Winola went into her office and closed the door. She picked up the reports and read every inch of the pages several times. She closed the reports.

Winola picked up the reports and headed for her brother Charles office. She knocked and then entered.

"I have the lab reports. Take a look at what was found." Winola stated.

Charles read the file and twenty minutes later, he looked over where Winola was sitting.

"This is unbelievable! I think our client won't see a day in court." Charles shouted.

"Go ahead and proceed. I know you can handle putting closure to this case." Charles stated.

Winola took the reports and left Charles office. She stopped at her secretary desk.

"Get me the Danube Drug Company lawyers on the phone." Winola asked her secretary and closed her office door.

The lab reports stated that batches of the drug called Nile's Revenge became contaminated with a virus that affects the liver. The drug company had recalled the drug, but not before the stores had time to clear their shelves. The drug company deliberately missed a few pertinent tests before they rushed it on the market. They got careless. The revenge would be on the drug company.

"Our client will be glad to get this case over with and he'll be well compensated." Winola mused.

Winola's phone buzzed. I have the lawyers on the phone, Winola." The secretary reported.

Thanks Diane. Winola picked up the receiver.

"Good morning Winola. How's everything? Jeffery Mackee asked.

"Good morning Jeffery. I'm feeling quite well. Matter of fact I feel wonderful. I know you've received the lab reports and had time to look them over." Winola answered.

"Yes we received the reports. We are willing to settle this case for fifty million without going to court. I'm sure your client will be very well pleased." Jeffery answered.

"Yes, I'm sure my client would be well pleased. But I won't be satisfied. The drug company has made billions of dollars on that product. My client will never be the same and neither will his family. My firm is ready to settle this case out of court for one hundred and fifty million. This is our final proposal, otherwise we'll see you in court." Winola replied.

"Could you hold on a moment, please madam? Jeffery asked.
