The nightclub is packed full. The four southern young ladies set at the front table which was reserved for them by Georgianna. They waited in anticipation for Georgianna to come out along with the crowd. Georgianna was one of the nightclub's favorite entertainers.
The lights went dim and the music started playing. The curtain opens and Georgianna walks to the middle of the stage with the microphone in her hand. The crowd started to clap and her friends yelled her name.
Georgianna is dressed in a sky blue long gown with matching shoes. She starts singing the song she wrote called "Misty Girl". The music arrangement was fantastic. Her voice wrapped around each note of the song. It was country with a blend of the blues. The music and Georgianna voice engulfed the air in the room. Everyone was listening intently to every word. Georgianna voice was sensational. Here outfit enhanced her song. She sung three more songs to finish her set. The audience gave her a standing ovation. Georgianna bowed and left the stage.
"She is amazing." Vedella remarked.
"Her voice filled the whole room." Dixie stated.
"I love the new songs, especially "Misty Girl". Winola replied.
"I loved her outfit. It blended so well with the music. She has style." Jannie Marie mused.
The southern young ladies continued to talk and sip their drinks while waiting for Georgianna.
Georgianna come to the table where her friends were sitting. She had changed her clothes. They all gave her congrats and hugs. Georgianna blushed.
"Honey, you wrote a beautiful song. I thought I was going to cry." Dixie emotionally said.
"The audience was captivated." Vedella remarked.
"You could go on tour with those songs." Winola stated.
"No one can do it justice like you Georgianna." Jannie Marie replied.
"Ladies you will make my head swell if you keep giving me compliments. I thank you very much for being here." Georgianna remarked with warmth in her voice.
"I'm hungry." Vedella stated.
"Yes, I came eat something myself." Winola agreed.
'We'll go over to the restaurant part of the club and get something to ear and then we will dance the night away." Georgianna replied.
The young ladies were escorted to the restaurant part of the nightclub. It was packed. People came over to compliment Georgianna on her performance tonight.
The ladies ordered their food and continue to converse with each other while waiting for their food.
Finally they dined.
"Now, let's go and dance some of this food off." Vedella replied.
