A visit to her parents was supposed to cheer her up but this time sjhe had come with a mission. She knew that she was in love with Jay so she had decided to break her engagement to Akash as it would not be fair to him if she married him.
Akash was coming home to dinner in the evening so her mother had prepared his favourite dishes. At dinner Cia was quiet and when the went for a walk she spoke with Akash.
"Akash I know this will come as a shock to you but I believe that we should not remain engaged. I don’t love you and for marriage there should be love between us. Also I am enjoying my work. My creations have been appreciated by the company so I plan to work longer than a year. I am sorry but I am not ready to get married yet.”
“Cia don’t be reckless. We have known each other since childhood and we may not be in love passionately but I do love you. I cannot imagine my life without you. As far as your career is concerned I will never stop you. You can open a boutique here and work from home.”
“ Akash you are not trying to understand I will marry only for love .”
