She was shocked when she reached the entrance only to see a beautiful woman standing outside. Afraid, she gathered the energy to pull the door open.

"Come in please."

Linda said shyly. She was blushing. Goodness it was Mayan's wife. Maybe it was because of this that he had not mentioned her. The woman was hot. Slender, beautiful, with a skin of chocolate. She looked like she worked for vogue. Linda could tell because she had been in the same business herself although she had not lasted their long. Courtesy of her ex Jonathan and Her parents' death.

"Hello, is Bill home?" the woman inquired.

"Um, I guess. I am Linda, I don't stay here but I could see if he is up there. Would you come in please?" Linda informed the other woman.

"Sweetheart, no thank you! I would prefer just to see Bill and live" The other woman said. She seemed as uneasy as Linda herself.

"Okay, I will go call him." Linda muttered.

"Here I am." Bill's voice said, as he appeared at the corner. Linda was startled. Surprised by her own reaction at the sound of his voice. The adrenaline rush, the pump of her heart, the excitement in her tummy, and yet, the doom of awareness that he would never be hers and that he was disgusted of her.

"Esther darling. Come on in." Bill called patiently. Bill held Esther's hand and carried her in, close to himself. Linda was getting goose bumps. Her crush on the man was growing and she couldn't believe it that she was envious.

"This is Linda. I am sure she has introduced herself already. Come honey. Let's talk." Bill mentioned while he got close to Esther and placed a light kiss on her lips. Linda blushed and so did Esther as she gave her hand to Bill and glanced at Linda. Bill's face betrayed no emotion as he led Esther towards his study. Linda felt hurt yet she knew she had no reason to. Quietly, she walked to her room.

"What was that?" Esther asked as soon as she and Bill sat down. Giggling.

"What was what? Hahaha" Bill asked jokingly as he burst out laughing.

"You bitch. You're hurting the poor girl!" Esther scolded playfully. She joined Bill in laughing.

"Remember those games we used to play every time one of us was hitting on a person who playing hard? Hahahahaha…" Bill added.

"Hahaha… very funny. And how your girls would walk around sulking every time they saw you with me they couldn't compete. Some guys still don't believe me when I tell them we are siblings." Esther added.
