It was a rainy day. The weather forecast for the day had been light rain but the roaring thunder and heavy rainfall gave the impression today it would rain as no other day. Nature was at its full force and Delhi with its unpredictable weather was hell bent on making Raima late It was an important day for Raima Seth as her new boss was to arrive today. She had wanted to create a favorable impression but everything was going wrong today.
First she had woken late. Being an early riser had always ensured that she reached office five to ten minutes early but today she would reach late..She missed her regular bus and had to take two buses to reach instead. To add to her woes her sandal had broken and she still had a ten minute walk to her office.
She was so deep in her thoughts that she didn’t notice a black Mercedes while crossing the road.. The driver stopped just in time to save her. However instead of apologizing and thanking the stranger she shouted at him. “Don’t you know how to drive?”.The driver stepped out and replied ”My car is not available for your suicide attempt. You may choose another car to fulfill your foolish fantasies.”. Strange how the word fantasies created illicit images in her mind.
