The week passed uneventfully. Raima would arrive on time but would always find Dev before her working consistently at his office.
She had to admire his work skills. Within a few days he had completely revamped the company and rearranged all the departments. He also had a knack for differentiating between hardworking people and people who idled away their time.
Within three days he had hired ten new people and suspended fifteen employees . But she could not fault him as he had offered good compensation packages with letters of recommendations for new jobs.
She was waiting for the axe to fall on her as she sensed cold vibes when he came near her. He never stopped at her office simply called her if something was needed. So, when he came to her desk on Friday evening she was surprised.
Raima” Ðon’t you need to leave early for your date tonight? I don’t want to upset Vihaan into thinking that you are overworked here and leave late at night.”
“Sir, My professional life is well accepted by Vihaan and we are due to meet for dinner at 9 pm not 7 pm.”
Even before she completed the sentence Dev had left the room. What an arrogant man!
She however listened to his advice and decided to call it a day.
