“Nice to see you, Raima, a beautiful lady in a beautiful dress. Hi, Dev do you always accompany all your employees to lunch meetings or does Raima get special treatment ?” Alex seemed to be at his bitchy best.
Before I could respond Dev was quick to answer ,”Alex this privilege of having lunch with me is extended to employees when they have to meet people who are as renowned as you are ?”.
Raima was surprised at Devs direct attack since Alex was a potential client.
After that they had a peaceful lunch discussing India’s current political scenario. In fact Alex left within an hour after confirming that they could send somebody to his office the next day to sign a contract.
Dev asked Raima for a desert but she declined.
“Let me drop you at the office as I have some work to finish off and won’t be going to the office today. Oh, by the way are you free on Friday night ? I have to attend a business associates dinner and was wondering if you would care to join me?” Dev asked her out, she couldn’t believe this.
But she was to meet Vihaan on Friday so she replied “, Dev I have a date on Friday.”
Dev was angry and replied,”It was foolish of me to think that you would like increase your contacts, Whose your date by the way?”
