"Cedric, this is a serious matter. You must talk her out of going, or I must go along."
"No, then she will think that I don't want to spend time with her."
"We will n be able to keep the truth from her for the rest of her life."
"You mean the rest of our lives. That is the goal, and I plan to keep it."
"Are you sure you don't want me to pack my things?"
"Yes, I am sure. You will just have to trust that I can take care of everything."
"How long will you be gone?"
