Shreya’s mother Rani was at her work place. She found the news paper advertisement on Miss India audition. She was wondering what made her child less beautiful. As a mother she could see Shreya as a dusky beauty with brains & a talented singer too…only if she aspired to be a great singer. On her way back home, her mind was pondering over giving Shreya an opportunity to see a different world….or rather the world differently.
By night she decided to break free Shreya from the self imposed boundaries & show her an amazing world outside. She had a discussion with her husband Aditya on this. He felt it was no harm in sharing the photographs for audition. Winning is least important. In the end they wanted her to get a lifetime experience & an exposure which she lacked. She was a great at singing but always hesitated to show her talent. It was always her parents who encouraged & enrolled her in competitions. However winning was never a compulsion.
Next day Rani wasted no time in finding out details for enrolling for the contest. After getting complete details, she sent Shreya’s farewell pic & few good pics for the elimination round. Few months later Rani received a mail on top 100 finalist selected for the contest across India. Shreya was definitely on the list. Her happiness knew no bounds. She was smiling all through her way.
