After sometime she came down and was able to see that everyone was playing cards. She then informed paatti as,”Paatti, I am going to walk in the woods. Will be back after some time.”
Paatti replied,”Okay.”
Varun spoke up,” Wait. Let me also join you.”
Everyone shouted,”OooooooooHhhhhhhh” He ignored them and walked towards Maya. Maya smiled at him so he gestured her to come along and they both went to the woods.
Once they were outside Maya spoke up,” Don’t you want to play?”
“No. It is not more important than spending time with you.”
“I see. Okay Varun. Why did you get me juice?”
“Maya, do you know that your body temperature is so hot. I can cook food within five minutes. You were that hot.”
“I know. It is usual for me as it is the same like that from my birth. But why water melon juice?”
“It reduces the body temperature. So I got that.”
“Oh! I see.”
“Don’t you know it?”
She laughed and said,” No. I didn’t know that. Shall I tell you something?”
“Say.”
“Actually I don’t know many vegetables name in Tamil. Also I don’t the differences between the dhal too.”
“Oh!” he said it casually but there was some thoughtfulness in his voice too.
