Lakshmi contemplated for some time; then she made up her mind to accompany them.
Our astrologer, Lakshmi and Baskar and his sister, Meenah (the four) reached the bungalow of Sivasankar.
Sivasankar was informed of the arrival of our Astrologer and his family members by his body guards and allowed them in as soon as permission was received from Sivasankar and Shyamala.
Shyamala came out of the room to welcome them and when she happened to see Lakshmi, she expressed her surprise on her face and with a smiling face she nodded to Lakshmi while she welcomed the other three, saying,” Welcome, welcome. Dad is waiting for you.”
It looked like a meeting of cat and mouse in a place.
Lakshmi had already known how Shyamala would react on seeing her but she endued the insult and determined to handle her with kid gloves (to be very careful to a person as one doesn’t want to hurt or make angry or upset.)
Baskar noticed this and signed something to Shyamala by his eyes. Shyamala widened her eye bows and looked at Lakshmi as if she were not ready to believe her. Then she led them to the room where Sivasankar was lying on the bed.
