Hurricane Andrea was followed by her big brother Hurricane Andrew a little stronger than Andrea and left most of the Everglade a total mess and the citiens of Everglade City homeless. People was taking refudge in some unlikely places that had minium damage. The city pool's dressingrooms was one of those unlikely places and so was the bus station. Crystal with her government pass got boxes of survival foods to cook and pass out at the local community center's soup line. The local news was there and so was the national news. Crystal tried to stay low key and was glad that Donavan was with Shelly. Crystal wasn't one hundred percent sure that she wasn't caught on any of the news cameras
Shane helped Crystal serve food and the church down from the ranger's office brought food and water to Shelly and juice for Donavan. She was counseled on being a single mother which she knew then that nobody here knew that she really wasn't Donavan's mother. Crystal must have kept Donavan out of sight and for people who wasn't wanting to check it out would be satisified with that answer.Miss When she noticed her arm scarred from the burns she told her that Crystal had told her that there had been an incident but didn't go into any details.
