When Sam saw how many death certificates had Latrogenic Disease listed as cause of death he called on his friend Jenny and asked her if she could arrange to take a couple of weeks vacation and come to see him. To cover up what she was going to be doing there she posted on her face book that she had been missing him and decided to try to make the log distance romance work. He met his buddy at the lake on Sunday and inside his boat's cabin sam began going over the information he had recieved from Dr. Maillard.

Dr. Maillard's first list of possible patients with latrogenic disease had already died from that diagnosis. About half of the second list was also victims of that disease. The rest of the names was people whom he knew. Most of them had retired and moved out of the county and possibly was hiding out with relatives or among religious groups which he couldn't blame them but if they got sick the where about of them would be known. The old sheriff was one of the first victims of Latrogenic disease.

Sam realized that both of his friends and Dr. Adams was right. He had sorted out the victims and they all were either elderly. homeless. or low income on some kind of goverment program. All he could do was shake his head because it just wasn't right. Good honest people who worked for years to get their social security checks was being placed on this list and once they got sick the government save oodles of money by just letting them die.
