Jill knew it was the other vet this time. By the next racing day at the race course that horse's owner had sold his farm to Mr.B On the next racing day one of the jockies stayed overnight in the bunkhouse available and right before eight in the morning he was found dead by gunshot wound where he couldn't have comitted suicide. That racing day was cancealed.

The night before the next big race the Horse's stable caught on fire and the crew was able to rescue all of the throughbreds. and the ponies had been put in a holding area that Jill used for her clinic so they were nowhere around the fire area. Julie was glad that she moved them at the beginning of the race season at her mother's suggestion to keep them safe from Mr. B That ended the races at that race couse for awhile if not for good.

The fire was listed as suspicious and the state fire marshall's office was investigating it. After a couple of weeks the television news station that they ruled it an electrical faulty system that caused the fire. The owner's insurance paid and new builders was already rebuilding the stable. The owner was thankful that it didn't spread to the clubhouse
