"This could become trouble," Halphas grumbled. "It's been awhile Lord Dantalion has set foot here at Goetia. With Master Rowan controlling his legions, there may be hard feelings about many a things…including the girl."

"Not to worry… Lord Dantalion put Rowan in command. He is well aware of his feelings for Laurel. They're both in this together, trying to help her," Druitte added.

"I will stay with you , just in case. In any event, I'm sure Lord Dantalion will be eager to see his old trusted friend," Levi mused.

"Is it true what Master Rowan said, about summoning the 'Succubus' Gwynnedd and Dantalion's legions as our allies?" Sitri asked Levi.

"Master Rowan has set his sights on all the help we can gather against the Four Kings of Hell. He knows Satan's weakness."

"What might that be?" Lucia asked while downing a cup of wine by the fire.

"The exile of Gwynnedd is but another solemn tale of love lost," Levi began his story.

Halphas, Druitte, Sitri and Vine sat next to Levi across from the girls, shivering by the hearth. They all listened tentatively to Levi 's story of Gwynnedd's love for the Angel of Death, Samael.

"So… if Satan still controls her broken heart… how can we be sure she will pay her allegiance to Master Rowan," Halphas smirked, stuffing bread in his mouth between breaths.

"She must pay her allegiance to he who guards over the medallion. Master Rowan knows this," Levi replied, walking over towards the open grimoire.

He was glad to see it safely returned to Dantalion's chamber by Rowan. He traced his hands over the book, remembering how coveted it was to Dantalion, and how he entrusted it to Rowan to master his demonic powers.

"Curious to know how Lord Dantalion's new found supernal powers will serve him in comparison to his demonic ones," Levi voiced his uncertainty.

"Well… I'm no angel, but aren't the powers of good always stronger than the powers of evil?" Lucia asked.

"I'm afraid not, my dear girl," King Vine mused. "Powers of evil have a strange and sometimes catastrophic outcome. There is no way to be sure exactly how the summoning will affect the second heaven.

Rowan stormed into Dantalion's chamber looking quite composed, signaling for Dantalion's thirty six legions to come forward. There were so many of them, only one hundred filled Dantalion's quarters.

"So are we gonna call down the angel or what?" Rowan flashed his canines.
