"I think, go get your bike and let's go give this new bike a try" And so they went for their first ride together, and as was his habit, Starke was in deep thought, watching Candee ahead of him on her new bike, how lucky I am to have found this woman, was it luck or fate, he wasn't sure anymore, he only knew, it was all so perfect.
They stopped at the B&B to say hello to Gerta, and have a cup of tea, then they continued on, until they returned to the cabin, Candee said, "phew", as she got off her bike, I know I've used some muscles, that have not been exercised in awhile, and she made her way up the steps and collapsed into one of the rockers there.
Starke went inside and saw the message light blinking, he hit the button and heard his mother's familiar voice, hi son hope to see you and my future daughter, for dinner, it is Sunday, you know? As he went back outside, Candee said, I heard, the door was ajar, we had better get changed and on our way, I can't believe how the morning flew by, Starke said, I know hon, it won't be much longer and we'll be married, and he leaned down and kissed her, then pulled her up out of the rocker, turned her towards the door and gave her behind a love pat, as she went inside.
They arrived at his mom's house, Anne greeted each of them with a hug and said, "sit, sit, we have time for a nice visit before our dinner is ready." Starke told her about the bike he had gotten for Candee and the nice ride they had that morning, she said, that will be very nice since you will be living there for a time, until the new house is completed and then I expect you will spend weekends there as well as vacations, yeah, mom that's what we are planning.
He was holding Candee's hand as he said, "I'm meeting with the builder this week to look over plans he's had drawn up of the house as I described to him the idea's we have for the house we both want, then we will look them over together as he looked at Candee, before we give him the go ahead to get construction under way ASAP. Candee gave his hand a squeeze and smiled her approval.
"It sounds like you've got things under control, son, you'll both be pleased to know that the wedding plans are also under control and moving along smoothly," which reminds me, "Candee dear, Julie and I would like to take you to lunch this coming Saturday, and then we can bring you up to date on the arrangements, would that work for you?" "Oh, Anne I would like that very much," "alright, I'll call you with time and place tomorrow." Starke said, "Cam and I have final fittings on Saturday for our tuxedo's, so that will work out just fine, we'll grab lunch on our own then, the boys will be with us and I guess Katie wi11 be with Julie?''
