Then Candee turned her attention to her son, well now my little man, as she kissed his forehead, he reached out and grabbed some of her hair in his tiny fist and she got that undone then un-strapped him from the carrier, placing it on the floor, she then got him changed, tossed it in the disposal can and got a bottle out of the bag and placed it in the warmer turning it on, and she walked to the window, which looked out from the side of the house. A buzzer sounded that the bottle was ready, and so she got comfortable in the rocker and gave Jamie his bottle.
It seemed as though only half way through the feeding he fell asleep but how he could continue to suckle from it was a mystery to her, finally he stopped as he was sound asleep, so she got up carefully and placed him in the crib, turned on the monitor took the one for her and quietly left him to his nap.
Candee wandered around Gloria and Chad’s very lovely and very modern, all glass home and chrome, and Danish modern furniture, but it suited this couple, the home was on four levels, with only a few steps to each level, one going in one direction while the next shot off in another direction, it was a very cool house. The lower level was the family/game room, with a room that contained the workings of the house including the furnace etc.
When she had satisfied her curiosity, she went out to join the party, and saw the people were moving into the dining tent that had been set up, and so she walked over to join her family already seated at a table. Although the food was being prepared on site, it was done by a catering service, huge grills were set up, and men were cooking steaks, or chicken for the adults, and hamburgers or hotdogs for the kids, with a variety of salads for everyone.
