The days and months were going by quickly, especially during the holidays beginning with Thanksgiving, and Candee was enjoying every minute with her family, all of them including Julie's which was an extended family sort of. The shop and their business was taking off as many couples wanted to get married over the holidays, they arranged some elaborate affairs and some lovely intimate weddings, and they enjoyed doing every single one.

They hired another woman to make appointments and more importantly to be their book keeper, she came highly recommended and could be trusted without question. As it turned out they liked her very much and she helped out wherever needed, even entertaining Katie when they were both wrapped up with new clients.

The Christmas holiday was even more wonderful, with the newlyweds, being invited to many parties, and gala's, upon her husband's insistence, she went to a maternity boutique and purchased several elegant holiday maternity outfits. And Candee looked lovely in every one of them.

They exchanged gifts with the entire family, and the most precious one Starke gave to her was the tiny media player, that she could clip onto her clothes and hang or sit on her belly and either play music for the baby or record a message to the baby, she was overjoyed with this gift.

The house was nearing completion and would be ready sometime in January, and during their spare time, what little they had was spent choosing furnishings for the new home, and meeting with decorators, they would be moved in only about a month before their baby was due to arrive.

Candee's baby shower was held right after the holiday's in early January, and it was Julie's job to get her there, which she did on the premise that Gerta had invited them to lunch to talk about a wedding that was to take place at the Inn, an older couple that had met there years earlier with their spouses, who were now deceased, and love bloomed between these two.

She was truly surprised to find that it was a shower and not a luncheon meeting, and had a grand time, and of course there was much ooh'ing and ah'ing over all the adorable tiny baby things.

By the end of January they were moved into their lovely new home, only taking with them from the cabin their clothes, personal things and the computers, because they intended to use the cabin on weekends and vacations.

The home was gorgeous, and Candee was in heaven, she stocked the nursery with everything she would need for the baby, and it was so delightful, she enjoyed just sitting in the rocker taking it all in, with the big double doors open she could see into either room the master suite or the nursery one from the other.
