Starke was up and out on the porch with his coffee waiting for Apples and family to arrive at the edge of the woods, he had their treat ready on the table beside his chair, he wanted to have a little chat with his friend before he went away for a week long honeymoon, he felt sure this deer understood him, and for his own piece of mind needed to communicate to him, that he would be back, and someone would be checking in on them and dropping off their treats. Beside he had Candee to answer to now if he didn't take care of this explanation as he promised her he would.

They had talked on the phone last night into the wee hours of the morning, and it was going to take a pot of coffee to wake him fully on this his wedding day, he thought, my god it's my wedding day! I will finally have the life I've always wanted, almost had but Was cut much to short, then he looked up and saw the deer had arrived, so he grabbed up the bag and slowly started to descend the steps walking towards them.

Halfway to the edge of the lawn he stopped he knew apples would come to him now leaving the family to wait there, this was their usual way of greeting each other. Apples snorted his hello, and Starke said," hey buddy how are you doing?" As he reached into the bag producing a few apple pieces on his palm, which the deer gently took from him, munching loudly, then Starke started to speak to him softly telling him all that he needed to share with him, the deer's ears constantly twitching as if taking in every word.

When he had finished he said, "Now, let's take the rest of these treats to your family and l'll leave you to share this news with Caramel," and the two of them walked towards the others. He had a few carrot pieces in the bag also which he tossed in front of Caramel, from Candee he said, as she made eye contact with him, and then started eating them sorting them from the apple pieces with her nose.

He went back into the cabin then to scramble a few eggs for himself as he hadn't eaten anything and only had the coffee, the phone rang as he entered, he picked up, 'hello" "hey, bro how's it going at the cabin?" Oh, "hey, Cam very quiet unlike the commotion, I hear going on at your place." Yeah well, nothing unusual for around here, just the three k's and the dog on a typical Saturday morning except that it's not typical, now is it?" But then that's the beauty of being kids, unfazed by all that's about to take place later today.
