A new week had begun for some people it was a special week, the week they had been waiting for and planning for, for Candee it was the week she had waited for most of her life, the week before her wedding to the man of her dreams.
And for some it was just another work week to get through before the weekend rolled around once again. Starke was at work, because he had some loose ends to tie up before he was away on his honeymoon. He noticed Cam on the phone very engaged in conversation, and since he was very animated, raising his eyebrows now and then, Starke could tell the information he was getting was important. As he hung up the phone he whooped alright! And in long strides was at Starke’s desk in about a minute.
Starke looked up, what's up Cam? Thought you'd like to hear this before you go away and share the news with your bride, they got the guys that shot apples lady, and they got a list of priors on each of them on a variety of charges so they should be put away for some time. You won't have to worry about your animal friends, or the cabin while your gone, everything should be just fine, you know I will be dropping by to keep an eye on things, yeah, and thanks Cam, by the way Apples lady has a name now thanks to Candee, they are best friends since the shooting and she named her Caramel. Cam, laughed, oh, I get it "Caramel- Apples" well actually it's because of her color, she's the color of caramels ... but hey, that's good too, and they both chuckled.
Just then the captain stepped out of his office, guess I can't expect much work out of you guys this week, eh.? As a matter of fact captain, I've got something to fill you in on, as Cam walked towards him and they went into his office, he winked to Starke over his shoulder.
Starke placed a call to the cabin, Candee answered somewhat out of breath, "hey, there beautiful bride to be of mine!" oh, hi Starke, I ran in to get the phone, I was out side enjoying a visit with Caramel and Apples."
" I discovered that she also likes carrots, and of course he being the protective mate, he walked over to check out what she was munching from the palm of my hand and guess what?" let me guess, he sampled a piece?" right you are, then he went back to the apple pieces, I had tossed on the ground for him."" Oh Starke they are so beautiful, I hope they live a very long time," how could they not with you and I looking after them?" he heard her sigh then.
