He took Gloria by the hand then and led her, with Sandy at her heels, to the kitchen where he knew his dad would be, and he was, hey dad, "I've brought the Angel home, just as I promised I would," his dad turned in his chair and said, "I see" he stood then and took her hand in both of his, "welcome my dear, here have a seat" as he pulled a chair out, son get a cup of coffee will ya?” sure dad. The collie made hers elf comfortable along side of her new friend and Gloria automatically put her hand on the dog's head giving her a soft pat, then she laid down, with her head on her paws.
Chad carried the coffee to the table, then got milk out of the refrigerator, and took a seat himself, Gloria said, you have a very nice place here. "Well it's nice but I suspect a wee bit dustier then you are used to, with it being just us guys here now," his dad replied. "We discovered there's a lot more to keeping a place up then fixing a roof and mowing the lawn, eh son?" "You got that right, dad." his dad chuckled then.
The three of them had a nice visit, then Chad said, "dad I'm going to show Gloria around our property and show her the space where I'm setting up shop for my new business venture, she's a business woman and just might have some good ideas for me" as he looked over to her he smiled, and she piped up, "well actually I have one idea, already that I thought I would run by you both now."
"Really ?" "Yes, I was thinking, you may want to check into advertising on the Internet, maybe on a website for car collectors, or something like that, you know advertising really works, every now and then I run an ad in our local newspaper, when I have a special on perms or cuts, and have gotten new customers every single time. I do not run the add continuous because I don't want to overwhelm my girls or for us to have more business than we can handle. We like our hours just the way they are and don't wish to extend them anymore then they are now, my girls all have families.
"Aren't you the thoughtful employer" Chad's dad said then, "well yes, I guess I am, my girls have been with me for a number of years now, we're almost like family," he then looked at his son, "you would do well to take advise from this lady, she's got a good head on her shoulders, not to mention the prettiest one I've come across in a long time, that brought a laugh from both of the young people.
