Tebogo had never felt like killing his brother more so than he did now. Tumi was an idiot. Always have been and always will be. It didn't take much to talk him into doing something stupid. Hell, even a rock could talk him into doing something stupid. Tebogo had lost count of how many times he had bailed him out. It was a full time job and he was sick of it. When he had heard that Tumi had found a woman gullible enough to marry him, Tebogo had prayed it was a woman with a backbone who would at least take over the strain of keeping Tumi out of trouble. Life had not been that kind.

The woman…correction the girl who was still wet behind the ears was worse than Tumi. Tebogo had realized that the first time he had met her. She was a lost lamb in need of rescuing. What she needed was a knight in shining armor not a spoilt brat who couldn't even tie his own shoelaces.

Tebogo got himself a beer from the fridge and took it to the bed where he had the television turned on to soccer. His favorite team Manchester United was playing with Barcelona. It was a match he didn't care to miss. He turned on the volume and relaxed on the bed.

For the past five years, Tebogo had been living abroad in New York. He had decided to expand on the family business and open a branch there. It was a sound strategy though his reasons for going to New York were personal. He was tired of being a rock for his mother and a father to Tumi. He was only thirty one years old and had so many wrinkles on his face, he looked ten years older. His father had passed away when he was twenty two and already working for Motsepe Investment Funding.

His mother who was emotionally dependant had deemed him old enough to take care of the family, the business and practically the world. Any problem the woman experience from a broken nail to a fine ticket, Tebogo was suppose to take care of it and make her life blissful. Tebogo valued family and considered responsibilities a part of life. He had done well by his family but enough was enough. He had his own life to live.

Tumi had found a wife while he had not been looking. Granted the girl he had chosen was a lost cause like him but he had the right idea.

Tebogo also wanted to find a wife. He wanted to fall in love, get married and have children. But he couldn't do that while he was his mother's knight in shining armor and his brother's safety net.
