It was early morning when Janaki and Rukmani woke up everyone. She asked everyone to get ready and allotted chores for their relatives. Everyone were busy with their dressing and doing the work allocated to them. Akshaya got ready for the wedding in yellow georgette saree which Meghna had got for her. Janaki and Viswanathan wore a traditional wear where Janaki was wearing a green silk saree which was selected by Viswanathan for her and Viswanathan wore white dhoti and shirt. Sankar had also wore the same as Viswanathan and Rukmani was wearing a blue silk saree.
The pandit called the bride and groom on the stage so that they can start the rituals. Rukmani and Janaki went to bring Meghna while Viswanathan and Sankar went to Sagar.
Sagar had worn white silk dhoti and shirt. He had neatly combed his hair and when he tried to gel it Janaki objected him. He had worn chain, his engagement ring and bracelet. He had kept tilak in his forehead and he looked so handsome in this attire.
He was first called on stage so they went and made him to sit in the mandap. The mandap was in traditional setup where they had placed all the Pooja items and set the fire at center. Sagar was asked to say mantras even though he couldn’t get understand even a word he said them. After few minutes the pandit asked them to bring Meghna on the stage.
