Anger rose within her and it was clearly visible in her eyes. Sagar saw her and walked casually and sat beside Kabir as if he didn’t even know her. She was very sure that he recognized her as their eyes met briefly for a moment.
Kabir then started speaking. “Meghna, this is Sagar, he is my childhood friend and also he is an Actor. He will be the center of attraction for next week party. So I thought it will be better for me to introduce you to him as that you both can decide on the designs and themes.”
Kabir turned his head to Sagar who was chewing bubblegum, “Sagar, This is Meghna. She works as Head of Designers at Alstyle Apparel. She will be taking care of designs hereafter for our company.”
Asha knocked the door, excused herself and placed the juices and left the room. Meanwhile, Meghna hid her anger and held out her hand to shake hands with him. Sagar checked her from top to toe and gave a mocking smile and moved his hand forward towards her but took the juice and gulped it in one shot. He dismissed her gesture and turned his head towards Kabir.
“So Kabir, What does I have to do now? Should I work with her?”
Kabir was not surprised by Sagar behavior as he had known him well since childhood. He was worried for Meghna.
