“Yes, I am very very happy.” Renee assured her friend. “Hey, why don’t we get together one of these days, soon?”
“Oh yes, for sure. Would love to. You have my number now, so call me up when you can.”
“I most certainly will. You too. I am off every weekend but have the kids every second weekend and sometimes during the week.”
“Sounds good to me.” Sandra said then hears a beep. “Renee, I have a beep, hold on a sec.”
“Ok.”
Switching over, she answered, it was Dave. She told him she was on the other line and asked if he could wait a moment to let the other party go.
“Renee, that is my date. I have to go ok. It was so nice talking to you and please keep in touch.”
“I will, you have fun today and thank you for calling. I will call really soon, ok?”
“Ok, you take care. Have a great weekend.”
“I will and you too. Bye for now.” Renee said then hung up the phone.
Switching back over she spoke to Dave, they discussed her address and their plans for the day. No mention of the friend on the other line.
They decided to make it a little earlier than planned which was going to be in an hour. She was very excited. Got up and got her things ready for the big day.
