After work Saddie and Cassandra stopped at their favorite little cafe to have dinner. During dinner they discussed how they would proceed if they were given the green light for the project. Saddie suggested that in the newspaper they could advertise that a meteorite or a small astroid was headed for this area. Then a few days later they would put these disfigured little water life forms in the lake and take pictures of them and announced the private lake was closed off due to a high level of radiation had been detected.
The private lake was owned by Dr. Watson's family and some of their security guards could dress up in hazmat gear while the other could dress in uniforms that could be recognized as a federal government law enforcement officers. They could block off the lake with tape like the goverment does at a crime scene. They could put a substance in the lake that made it glow green that could be seen from the skies.
They could also use one of the university homemade ufo's that was supposed to have been scrapped for another science project. Instead Dr. Watson paid out of his own pockets and bought them new materials and took home their ufo. Everyone at the university thought it had been dismantled so no one would recognisze it. Some might wonder about it but maybe it wouldn't be brought to the media's attention while the project was going on. and put a big tent up with a huge sign that stated quarantine station
